Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and Halqa when you use halqahub.com or the Halqa apps. By creating an account, you accept them.

Your account

  • You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it.
  • Give accurate details, keep your password safe, and don’t share your account. You’re responsible for what happens on it.
  • One person, one account. Don’t pretend to be someone else, or a brand or organisation you don’t represent.

Your content

You own what you post. You give Halqa permission to store, show and deliver it to the people you share it with, for as long as it’s on Halqa, so the service can work. You’re responsible for having the right to post it, and it must follow our community guidelines.

The marketplace

  • Sales are between buyer and seller. Halqa isn’t a party to them and doesn’t take payment for them.
  • List only items you have and are allowed to sell, describe them honestly, and don’t sell anything illegal, counterfeit or prohibited.
  • Meet safely, check items before paying, and never send money in advance to someone you don’t know.
  • Reviews must reflect a real, completed transaction.

Communities

Community owners and moderators can set extra rules for their community and remove content or members that break them. Our community guidelines apply everywhere.

What you must not do

  • Break the law, or the community guidelines.
  • Spam, scam, harass or threaten people.
  • Try to get into accounts or systems that aren’t yours, disrupt Halqa, or scrape it.
  • Use bots or automation to create accounts or act for you without our permission.

When rules are broken

We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or ban accounts. We tell you what we did and why, and you can appeal from Settings → Account status (or from the sign-in page if you can’t sign in). A different moderator reviews each appeal.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time (how). We may close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

The service

We work to keep Halqa available and safe, but it’s provided as it is, and it may change, have interruptions or occasionally lose data. As far as the law allows, Halqa isn’t liable for indirect losses, or for what users say, sell or do. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to use Halqa afterwards means you accept them.
